Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
  • Scrum Master: Implement Project Management/Best Practices, keep all parties on track and Informed, Introduce Agile engineering practices, host daily stand up meetings, assist product owner with product backlog, remove roadblocks, teach Scrum practices and principles
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones
  • Hold regular technical team meetings (scrum ceremonies) to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
  • Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the organization
  • Update and maintain all production technologies ensuring proper maintenance and installation
  • Monitor and manage the cost/schedule/performance for project's
  • Assess justification for schedule slippage; identify and develop a remediation plan.
  • Develop and continuously maintain all project documentation for current and option years (OYs) to include funding needs and priorities
  • Manage risks associated with dependencies and project milestones
  • Prepare ad hoc reports based on client's requests
  • Deliver briefings to organization leadership

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, organizational development, engineering, physical science or technologyrelated
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • 6+ years of experience in assigned job duties as a Project Manager
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment (preferably with Network Engineers) and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience working with ServiceNow
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Experience managing Government projects
  • Experience working with the Department of the Navy
  • Experience with Agile methodologies

Remote + travel 1x per quarter

Salary: $110,000 + to align with education and experience
