The University of Notre Dame is seeking a student to work during their summer break within our Facilities division on campus in Notre Dame, IN. This will be an opportunity to gain real-world experience for a large real estate owner and learn how Geographic Information System (GIS) data collection and management impact the full life cycle of facility management while gaining hands-on experience with GIS systems and software. This temporary Student GIS and data Technician position will have direct ownership of specific summer-long projects with the University Facilities Information (UFI) team to collect and maintain important floor plan, space, and asset data within our campus buildings.

Qualified applicants will have a strong desire to learn new things, a keen attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to see significant projects through from start to finish. Specific experience with AutoCAD or GIS technologies is preferred but not required.

All work is required to take place on campus in Notre Dame, IN.

Job Responsibilities will include:

Reliability and consistency are essential. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft and Google Office products.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
