Job Description

Summary

This Individual will assist in the planning, coordination and execution of software projects for the organization. Responsible for overseeing development teams, they ensure projects align with company strategic goals, meet objectives, stay within scope. Their role involves resource allocation and requires close collaboration and alignment with Project Management, Infrastructure, Information Security and the business. The Application Development manager is also responsible for fostering collaboration and streamlined communication between App Dev team members and the business line/associates. This individual works with team members to create, track and achieve goals and stay up to date on industry technologies and best practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Head of Application Development and IT Management to analyze business requirements, set project priorities and resource allocation to support project workload

  • Work with business leaders and project management on defining and assigning resource needs to support business projects

  • Work with internal stakeholders on planning, development, testing, and implementation of projects and systems.

  • Work with vendors as needed to support project implementations

  • Work closely with the Information Security and Infrastructure teams to produce secure and scalable solutions to minimize risk to the organization including assisting with quarterly SOX testing

  • Provide updates and documentation on project status as requested by leadership

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget

  • Liaising with IT vendors on system implementation & supporting User Acceptance testing

  • Drive regular review and support implementation of system upgrades and patches when required

  • Evaluating and implementing tools to help maintain data integrity

  • Staying updated on industry trends, data governance, security and compliance

  • Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement

  • Manages due diligence and integration planning to support practices through consecutive and concurrent acquisitions, ensuring timely completion

  • Identifies potential issues, communicates them effectively, and finds appropriate solutions

Qualifications:

  • Prior Experience in IT Management

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Able to build thoughtful business proposals

  • Ability to create strong and effective business relationships at all levels of the organization

  • Solutions oriented with a focus on continuous improvement

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate

  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Salesforce and Workday Administrators

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field.

  • Requires at least 2-3 years of project or development management experience

  • Salesforce and or Workday Administration experience a plus

Computer and Software Skills:

  • Microsoft office suite

  • None

COMPENSATION: Salary Range: $150,831 - 218,705. Amount is based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.
