POSITION SUMMARY:
Working as part of the Policy and Advocacy team, the Manager, Health System Innovation and Navigation develops, manages, and continuously improves strategies to engage and expand the reach of HSIN programs within Policy and Advocacy, to CF care teams and people with CF and their caregivers. The Manager will lead the processes to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate new programs for HSIN in partnership with internal and external collaborators to support CF care teams and people with CF.
 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage HSIN programs including, but not limited to SDOH, Cost Burden, advisory group(s), conducting focus groups; developing targeted dissemination and implementation plans; identifying and addressing needs for resources and education for the clinical and CF community.
  • Develop audience specific strategies and offerings to enhance the engagement of and support to underserved and/or underrepresented groups.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Specialist and other team members for assigned areas of work, including co-creating annual plans, and operational documentation.
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and accessibility principles, including advising and consulting with HSIN staff and partner with Communications and other CFF teams on strategies to foster representation, inclusion, and sense of belonging especially for the underserved and underrepresented groups.
  • Lead the development, design, implementation, evaluation and management of programs and educational content based on needs assessment and input from internal and external collaborators related to social risk factors and other topics.
  • Attends and leads program meetings, prepares reports and other associated documentation and orient, train, assign and evaluate the work of colleagues.
  • Develops best practices and supports the maintenance of internal and external relationships through regular communication and interaction with all relevant collaborators.
 
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Minimum of eight years of professional experience, with three to five years of successful experience in relevant program design, development, and implementation.
  • Master’s degree in public health or related field of study (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on-time and on-budget.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
 
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
  • Reports to the Senior Manager, Health System Innovation and Navigation. No direct reports.
 
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, and temperature.
  • No heavy lifting required.
  • Minimal travel (e.g., 2x/yr.) to conferences and meetings, as necessary.

The salary range is $78,000 to $95,000. Specific salary varies based on geographic location and is commensurate with experience.
