Summary of Job Duties:
The Department of Finance at the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas invites applications for a non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor position. This is a 9-month non-renewable position beginning August 12, 2024 to May 16, 2025. We will consider candidates with teaching and research interests in all areas. Candidates are expected to conduct research aimed at publishing articles in finance journals, teach courses in multiple areas of finance, and contribute service to the university.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:

Ph.D. in finance from a nationally or internationally accredited university conferred by the start of employment

Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate finance courses

Strong research publication record or the potential to publish in top-tier finance journals

Demonstrated excellence in teaching course in multiple areas of finance
