If you are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, Mathematics, or a similar major and want to work in an exciting and collaborative environment, we'd love to have you join our team.

 

We are seeking an intern to join our EZIE Mag Team (Electrojet Zeeman Imaging Explorer Magnetometer Kit)

 

As a member of our team...

  • Your primary responsibility will be contributing to the development, outreach, and deployment of the EZIE Mag units
  • You will work with a team to build EZIE Mag kits, and assist with distribution and outreach, and develop calibration algorithms
  • You will help to develop a web interface for the EZIE Mag outreach website
  • You will contribute to a dynamic group culture to uphold core values through participation in collaborative teams and activities, as well as a dedication to continual improvement, innovation and risk-taking, and developing high quality products.

Qualifications

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

  • Are pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, Mathematics, or similar degrees 
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Have a passion for programming and analysis, as well as math and physics.
  • To access APL’s facilities and networks, U.S. citizenship or permanent residence status is required, subject to applicable laws 

You'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you… 

  • Have experience developing calibration algorithms
