Summary of Position

Keene State College’s Facilties Services department invites applications for a Grounds Lanscape to maintain an aesthetically pleasing and safet environment for the campus community. This is a full-time, benefited position.

Other minimum qualifications

  • High School diploma, technical or vocational school graduation or equivalent
  • Three years of experience
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Position involves heavy lifting, working in a variety of workplace weather conditions with an ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Ability to obtain NHDOT medical card within 6 months of employment.
  • Post offer, pre-employment physical exam also required.
  • Weekend and call-in hours as required.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional landscaping/grounds experience that will contribute to departmental needs
  • NH pesticide license, Category G1 & G2
  • Knowledge of KSC campus or other college/university setting
  • CDL license
  • Heavy equipment experience
  • Tree trimming experience

Salary is commensurate with experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, retirement, tuition, and paid time off.
