Job Summary
The Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering at CU Boulder is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to lead the Linden UV Research Lab efforts in the effects of UV light on microorganisms and viruses including disinfection and biochemical effects. This position will also support research of graduate and undergraduate students, support development of reports, manuscripts, and new proposals for research funding. This position starts in summer 2024.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- Performing laboratory and field research in environmental microbiology and engineering.
- Supervising graduate and undergraduate students.
- Writing reports for funding agencies.
- Writing manuscripts on research findings for submission to journals.
- Writing proposals for research funding.
- Presenting research at conferences and meetings.
What We Can Offer
The annual salary range associated with this position is $50,000 to $60,000.

What We Require
- PhD in environmental engineering with experience in environmental microbiology.
- At least 2 years in UV disinfection related research.
- Experience writing manuscripts for publication.
