• Performing laboratory and field research in environmental microbiology and engineering.
• Supervising graduate and undergraduate students.
• Writing reports for funding agencies.
• Writing manuscripts on research findings for submission to journals.
• Writing proposals for research funding.
• Presenting research at conferences and meetings.

The annual salary range associated with this position is $50,000 to $60,000.

• PhD in environmental engineering with experience in environmental microbiology.
• At least 2 years in UV disinfection related research.
• Experience writing manuscripts for publication.

• Ability to work on a team and respond quickly to changing research priorities.
