Project Manager Summary:

Responsible for coordinating with all agencies, internal departments and outside consultants to achieve desired development goals.



Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating and implementing input from division leaders regarding site and architectural design.
  • Responsible for obtaining required permits from local jurisdictions in support of land development and home building operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate with architects, engineers, landscape architects, soils and environmental engineers, and other consultants in preparation of required development applications and approvals.
  • Responsible for support to the Operations Department during the entire construction process.
  • Review all plans and specifications from a cost perspective, while identifying areas that warrant detailed review and value engineering.
  • Liaison between Lennar trade partners, consultants and private, public and quasi-public agencies for any area that needs resolution and to exchange valuable information.
  • Assist in the processing of plans or required paperwork for agency approvals and permits.
  • Responsible for the creation of plot plans.
  • Supervise and coordinate with DRE counsel, DRE budget preparer and others in preparation of plans and documents required for submittal to DRE to obtain public reports for sales.
  • Responsible for coordinating the creation and implementation of homeowners' association(s), serving on HOA Boards and tracking common area turnover process through build-out.
  • Responsible for managing all assigned community budgets at minimum on a quarterly basis, including anticipating and reporting any jurisdictional fee increases and any other potential budget impacts.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Seven (7) years of experience in community entitlement and homebuilding process, some public agency experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in the field of Construction Management, Urban Design, Business, Engineering or related course study preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Advanced PC skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent analytical and writing capabilities; strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines concurrently
  • Accepts constructive feedback
  • Team player

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office supplies and materials weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard, calculator and telephone equipment. May operate a motor vehicle.

The *median base compensation for this position is estimated to be $113,000/annual, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors including employee qualifications, geographic location, and operational considerations. Note: *The median amount may be greater or less than the average salary.
