In this role, you will have a direct impact in the testing of clinical material that will drive Poseida's mission to cure patients of cancer. This individual will assist with the receipt, storage, documentation, and coordination of samples to support cGMP operations, assist with coordinating external testing, and perform laboratory operations that support the manufacture of quality final product. You will have an opportunity to collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders across internal and external departments with a focused mission of changing the lives of cancer patients.


Position Summary

Poseida is seeking an outstanding candidate to join our Quality team. The Quality Control Analyst, Sample Management is a member of a dynamic team that ensures the safety of our products at various points during the manufacturing process and confirms they meet predefined criteria. Working cross-functionally and collaborating with individuals and functions both within Poseida and at third parties, they will support the Quality department goals, participate in and promote Quality culture.


Responsibilities

These may include but are not limited to:

  • Lab support position that will involve hands-on processing of drug product at various stages of the manufacturing process as well as the final product for our clinical trials.
  • Assists with routine quality control sample receipt, storage, documentation, testing and coordination to internal and external testing stakeholders to support timely release of products.
  • Enters data, and assists with data review, generating CoTs, and assembling physical and electronic data in adherence to written procedures.
  • Works with minimal supervision to follow written procedures.
  • Assists with maintaining laboratory reagents and solutions for routine testing. Assists with managing laboratory inventory, cleaning, and preventative maintenance in adherence to written procedures.
  • Supports the Research Operations Product Pipeline Support team with sample receipt, storage, documentation, and coordination to internal and external testing stakeholders.
  • Supports raw material testing data management.
  • Collaborates on creating and drafting standard operating procedures and test methods.
  • Utilizes quality systems to conduct training, assists with deviation and OOS investigations, and CAPAs.
  • Supports data trending for Quality metrics as needed.
  • Assists with environmental monitoring data entry and trending as needed.
Requirements

Requirements, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences or a related field with 0-1 years of relevant laboratory experience (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).
  • Proficient in handling and detailed management of BSL2 materials and hazardous chemicals.
  • Experience with laboratory based sample management procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in organization and data management (e.g. good documentation practices, strong organization skills) with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic, complex and fast-paced team environment.
  • Experience with aseptic technique not required, but preferred.
  • Requires flexibility of work schedule to accommodate supporting manufacturing activities, which may include some weekend work.
  • Must be able to gown into ISO classified areas to support manufacturing activities.
  • Must be physically capable to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.



QC Analyst, Sample Management Pay Rate: $26.92/hour to $31.34/hour

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience with the industry, education, geographic location, etc.
