  • Combination of training and experience required to perform the duties

Department Required Skills

  • Experience planting, pruning and harvesting tomatoes for fruit analysis and taking harvest data.
  • Experience with data recording in the field and leaf tissue sampling for DNA extraction
  • Detailed oriented for data collection, research data management and analysis
  • Ability to lift 20-25 lb bags occasionally 

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

  • Previous experience of working in agriculture research
  • Ability to implement the field experiment on the basis of given instruction

Required License or Certification

  • Valid driver’s license
