The Web Content Administrator is responsible for posting and updating content on Promethean's websites, including but not limited to , , and . They will be the first point of contact on content management tools, including Wordpress, Vidyard, and any custom or future tools used to schedule content on our sites. This person will manage our internal ticket management system and be responsible for triage and ticket assignment. They will also assist in project management tasks for the digital team.
As a Coordinator, Web Content you will...
  • Publish, schedule, and update content on our public-facing websites using content management tools.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure their content is posted in a timely fashion.
  • Initiate translation process for content posted to and other public-facing sites.
  • Write HTML, CSS, and Javascript code when necessary to enhance design or layout of content.
  • Train team members and external stakeholders on using content management tools to provide a self-service component to our content workflows.
  • Act as the gatekeeper and subject matter expert for the content published on our website. * Assist in formatting content for SEO benefit.
  • Act as our team's first responder for all tickets and requests in our project management tool.
  • Assign and follow-up on tickets to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Assist in reporting internally and to external stakeholders.
  • Help manage the continuous improvement of our content management systems for our websites, our video, and social media content
Responsibilities:
  • 2-3+ years of relevant experience * A general understanding of the web and the tools that make it work. * Experience with Wordpress, or a similar content management system.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and web analytics tools.
  • Basic experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Excellent organizational project management skills to support time-sensitive requirements and tight deadlines.
  • Clear communicator with the ability to speak to technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • A motivated self starter with an eye towards continuous improvement.
  • Quick learner, with strong conceptual and analytical skills. * Strong presentation and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving, judgment, critical thinking, creative thinking and decision making skills

Base Salary: $58,700 - $75,900 Plus Bonus Eligibility

For business reasons, Promethean does not employ individuals who work remotely in San Francisco, San Jose or Oakland.
