Systems Administrator III

Job Description

Fidelity Technologies Corporation is seeking System Administrator III for its Department of Defense (DoD) programs.

Duties include
:
  • Plan and conduct CS continuous monitoring and associated analysis to maintain the CS posture of training system environments, networks, and enclaves.
  • Plan and conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments using Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) approved tools, applications, and guidance.
  • Assist ISSM/ISE personnel with the preparation and submission of RMF security authorization packages for initial and renewal Authorizations-to-Operate (ATO) for training systems.
  • Assisting Government Information Assurance (IA) personnel in the configuration and sustainment of HBSS, and executing and analyzing vulnerability scans upon request by Government IA personnel.
  • Coordinating Cybersecurity/ATO requirements with Government Cybersecurity/IA personnel, including the ISSM, ISSO, ISEO, and COR.
     
Experience Required:
  • Possess a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. Experience should include secure network and system analysis, procedure/test generation, test execution and implementation of computer/network security mechanisms.
  • Possess current certification in CompTIA CISSP (or equivalent) and maintains necessary certifications and required forty (40) hours of annual continuing education (reference the DoD Approved 8570.01-M Baseline IAT-III Certifications);
  • Possess applicable CE/OS Certifications;
  • Expert knowledge in all basic and intermediate cybersecurity functions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs);
  • Within six (6) months of assignment, complete Government sponsored training on the DoD Host Based Security System (HBSS) and the DoD Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS);
  • Meet the Minimum Credential requirements and maintains the minimum training requirements as identified in DoD 8570.01M;

Possess a working knowledge and familiarity with applicable Cybersecurity instructions and practices (e.g., DoDI 8570.01-M series– Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program; CJCSM 6510.01 series- Defense-In-Depth: Information Assurance (IA) and Computer Network Defense (CND); DoD 8570.01M; and DoDI 8500.1 Cybersecurity).
