TheManager, Supply Chain Planningoversees and participates in the planning and coordination of Owner-Supplied Equipment (OSE) for the portfolio of potential projects in the Development database. Principal responsibilities are the planning/forecasting for equipment requirements, and allocation of purchased OSE to specific projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve in senior role to support and guide / mentor other peers on the team
  • Proactively work with Development and Pre-Construction teams to define Owner-Supplied Equipment needs for the projects in the Development Portfolio, and provide forecasts for equipment volume and timing (delivery needs)
  • Proactively communicate equipment needs (from 1 above) with the Procurement team, who will be responsible for sourcing said equipment
  • Monitor availability/supply of purchased equipment and earmark/allocate equipment to specific projects (coordinating with Preconstruction, Development, Procurement, and Engineering)
  • Monitor project Construction Schedules (Pre-construction/Execution) related to planned/optimal delivery timing for Owner-Supplied Equipment and identify potential concerns with actual delivery timing for allocated equipment
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Logistics team and Project Execution team related to delivery timing and strategy
  • Participate in meetings with the Development, Pre-Construction, Procurement, and Project Execution teams as SME for Owner-Supplied Equipment
  • Maintain awareness of prevailing Lead Times for various equipment (coordinating with Procurement team) and integrate into Supply Chain forecasting/modeling
  • Maintain relevant data systems related to OSE

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required
  • Minimum of 10 years inthe Project Management field (including Project Controls) and/or Procurement/Supply Chain management
  • Knowledge of environmental and safety policies and procedures (for site visits)
  • Capacity to think creatively to solve problems with other stakeholders
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability and willingness to travel to and from regional offices and job sites as needed (6-10 trips per year)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage internal/external customer relationships
  • Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
  • Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
  • Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team
  • Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
  • Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable
  • Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with evolving work processes, and contribute to workflow discussions

Work Environment:

  • This position is a remote-based role with some travel and visits to RWECE office and field locations
  • The employee must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York is $100,000-$151,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
