Overview

Dana-Farber is seeking applicants for its 2024 Clinical Research Fellowship Program. The goal is to provide high potential individuals, who demonstrate a commitment to inclusion, diversity, and health equity with an entry level point into a career in Clinical Research via a12-week summer program. The program focuses on all aspects of clinical research such as direct clinical operational experience, regulatory coordination experience, training and shadowing, and understanding the role of various research administration departments. This program promotes a supportive environment ensuring that fellowship participants receive guidance on clinical research opportunities at Dana-Farber.

Clinical trials are scientific studies in which new treatments – drugs, diagnostic procedures, and other therapies – are tested on patients to determine if they are safe and effective. Such trials help scientists answer questions about new cancer therapies, including what diseases should they be used for? What doses of new drugs are most effective? And which patients can benefit the most from them? Nearly all cancer drugs in use today were tested and made available to patients through clinical trials.

Fellows must commit to the entire 12-week program from May 20th to August 9th.

Applications will be accepted through January 31, 2024.
