Summary of Position
Under the supervision of the Institute on Disability’s Associate Director, the Director of ATinNH will lead New Hampshire’s statewide assistive technology program funded by the 21st Century Assistive Technology Act of 2022 administered by ACL – the federal Administration for Community Living.

Other minimum qualifications
1. Master’s degree in assistive technology or other related discipline; PhD preferred.
2. Five (5) or more years of experience in program development, management, marketing, and AT service delivery.
3. High degree of self-motivation and initiative.
4. Ability to work with diverse constituencies.
5. Skills in writing, public speaking, and managing budgets.
6. Ability to travel throughout NH, the region and nationally for required meetings and training events.
7. Demonstrated experience with obtaining and managing external funding (i.e. grants and contracts).
8. Supervision experience.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
1. PhD in assistive technology or other related discipline.
2. Assistive Technology Professional Certification.
3. Lived experience and/or personal connection to disability.

Serve as Principal Investigator of the Assistive Technology Act Program grant, including management of budgets, communications with funding agency, and submission of all required reporting.
