Summary of Position

The Assistant Director of UNH Wildcat Productions is the primary producer for all athletic broadcasts and webcasts. This individual will help manage 10-15 camera operators and talent. This position will serve under the supervision of the Director of UNH Wildcat Productions

Other minimum qualifications

2-4 years in the broadcasting field
Bachelors Degree in a related field
Experience with video editing software and Adobe Creative Suite
Working knowledge of Ross video production equipment and ESPN 3 workflow
Must be able to work nights and weekends
Proficient in video techniques, including camera positioning, lighting, etc.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Strong engineering and AV Signal flow background
Must be a creative thinker with the ability to think of new, fun ideas to improve the fan experience through video
A general understanding of college athletics
Ability to problem solve on the fly
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Excellent communication skills
Well organized and detail oriented

Operate control room equipment to facilitate video board shows of Wildcat home contests as well as broadcasts on ESPN 3/+, NESN, Americaeast.tv, and YouTube Live

Setup, breakdown, and maintenance of video production equipment.

Coordinate to ensure all technical aspects are prepared for each game day.

Working with the Director of Marketing, Director UNH Wildcat Productions, and Social Media interns to create short videos that can be used online and in arena on the video board to enhance the fan experience.

Assisting with motion graphic creation for in-stadium video board, including motion player headshots using a green screen

Create digital content for multiple platform use (Video Board, Web, TV) including but not limited to 603 Challenge, Senior Showcase, Commercials, Original Shooting
