THOR Solutions is seeking a motivated mid-level Power Platform Administrator/Project Analyst to provide support services at Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) in San Diego, CA. In this role, you'll support the government customer's Power Platform environment, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, to streamline processes and drive productivity. Additionally, you'll customize SharePoint sites, edit training videos to support educational initiatives, and provide crucial support in project analysis and coordination. This role requires a diverse skill set, including technical proficiency, creative flair, and strong analytical capabilities, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience obtained in a U.S Navy/DoD environment.

Typical Responsibilities: The candidate's responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) performing or supporting the following actions:

  • Design, develop, and deploy Microsoft Power Apps solutions to meet business needs. Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, and permissions. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint users.
  • Edit video content for inclusion in training and presentation materials. Collaborate with team members to ensure videos meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Perform clerical functions including enter and update data in databases and spreadsheets. Perform data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide general programmatic and administrative support services.
Location: Hybrid. ~1 day/week onsite at Naval Base Point Loma, and the remainder may be flex/telework. Position may change to require additional regular onsite days, up to full time onsite, based on contract & customer requirements.

Typical Physical Activity: Desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion.

Schedule: California Alternate Work Week schedule. Mondays - Thursdays 9 hours daily, and Fridays alternate between 8 hours or 0 hours.

Target Pay Range: $28.37 - $29.72/hour

Existing Security Clearance Required: This position requires a DoD Secret security clearance. A qualified candidate must already possess an active or interim Secret (or above) clearance.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is highly preferred.
    • Other degrees, relevant business or vocational training, or relevant military experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • At least three (3) to five (5) years of recent, relevant experience providing diverse programmatic, administrative, and analytical support services.
    • Experience gained in a US Navy/DoD environment is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. Experience in SharePoint administration and configuration. Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, including lists, libraries, and workflows.
  • Basic proficiency in a professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with common productivity software, including the Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
  • Proficiency in data entry and keyboarding skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
