House Operations Manager

Job Description

HOUSE OPERATIONS MANAGER, Division of Student Life-Housing and Residential Services, to be responsible for the day-to-day operational functions of residence hall facilities, including management of human resources (i.e., student, professional, and unionized staff), house operations’ finances (FY budget setting, quarterly forecasting, and ensuring budget(s) are not overspent), vendor relations, facility maintenance, and preventative maintenance.  Will ensure that all residents are properly and comfortably housed, provide appropriate support for residential programming activities, and maintain the highest level of service to the residential community in alignment with the department's mission statement

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED:  bachelor’s degree in a related field; two years of relevant experience; experience and comfort with technology and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Docs, e-mail, electronic work order tracking system, etc.; experience with labor relations; service orientation; ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a team-oriented fashion; flexibility and adaptability to change and a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.  Job #23770-7

Salary range: $75,000 – 95,000, depending on relevant experience and education.
