- Develop, steward, and grow relationships with external constituents across NH and across the US to build IHPP’s reputation across the state and elsewhere.
Duty/Responsibility
- Identify opportunities for IHPP growth in cross-functional areas and provide leadership to promote work across focal areas.

- Serve as a member of the IHPP Leadership Team, informing the overall direction of IHPP.
- Assist the IHPP Director in the development and implementation of the IHPP strategic planning process.
Duty/Responsibility
- Responsible for specific activities and oversight for the full range of projects within the Health Analytics and Informatics Focal Area.
- Will ensure that data analytic, research, and evaluation activities of HAI are compliant with University level policies for the responsible conduct of research, as well as federal and state policies.
- Work with the IHPP Director and Leadership Team to provide strategic direction for the focal area, including identifying new projects for the area, advising on staffing needs for the organization, and ensuring the projects within the focal area progress to meet the terms of relevant grants and contracts.
- Oversee project work plans with project staff and contractors to meet grant deliverables.
Duty/Responsibility
- Provide expertise about the health data landscape in NH and across the US within the focal area to internal and external audiences.
- This includes representing IHPP with a range of constituents and stakeholders, including leadership of the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, state data agencies across the US, the Endowment for Health, State Committees and Commissions, UNH workgroups, and Federal agencies (CMS, Department of Labor, Health and Human Services).
- Lead meetings of project team members, including project funders and leadership internal and external to UNH, to ensure that the needs of the full range of focal area projects are being addressed.
- Will provide consultation to faculty and government partners regarding the preparation of research proposals, design and methodology, data analytics, and interpretation of results.
Duty/Responsibility
- Direct the range of tasks to support grant proposals, white papers, publications, and other deliverables by project staff.
- Review and provide feedback to project staff to ensure that the deliverables are of high quality and meet the project requirements.
- Assign and supervise the work of other staff members, including project directors, research associates, and interns to ensure that project work is completed and is of high quality.
- Provide day-to-day supervision for members of the focal area team.
Duty/Responsibility
- Serve as Principal Investigator and/or Project Director for grants and contracts within the focal area.
- Track grant and contract project deliverable progress, and ensure budgets are adhered to, working with the staff across IHPP.
- Oversee the development of written progress reports as required by funding agencies to document project progress, results, and conclusions and to maintain funding.
- Develop the portfolio by grant writing and/or mentoring additional team members in the development of new funding proposals to sponsors.
