About the Role:

The Medical Information System Administration and Logistics Specialist will work closely with the Medical Communications team to support administrative and logistical tasks associated with medical information and content management. The Specialist is responsible for several Medical Information and administrative aspects, such as liaising with the medical information call center, responding to non-therapeutic area specific inquiries, serving as medical information systems administrator, and coordinating logistics associated with resource maintenance, distribution, and meeting support. The candidate will be a team player with well-developed skills for ensuring effective communication among team members. This position will report to the Manager, Medical Communications.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Serve as primary point of contact for the Medical Information call center, managing contracting, reporting, and notifying vendor of changes or updates to content and/or relevant Neurocrine policies

  • Act as liaison for general Medical Information requests and field medical affairs inquiries, responding to requests as appropriate or triaging to the appropriate therapeutic area lead

  • Acts as administrator for the Information Request Management System (IRMS) and analytic databases, performing system and user maintenance, report creation, troubleshooting, vendor contact, etc.

  • Responsible for logistics of content deliverables and resources to ensure material is up to date and available for use across various platforms

  • Support Medical Information and Content Development initiatives, as needed

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Experience in Pharma/Biotech/Devices industry or relevant experience

  • Flexible and able to work independently to manage work priorities and follow tasks through to completion

  • Thrives when working in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. Strong ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks

  • Comfortable working within digital platforms and within system administration

  • Quick learner, goal oriented and results driven with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to escalate issues appropriately

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly proficient computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
