Description

We invite applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in the College's associate degree nursing program. This is a full-time, 9-month appointment within the Health Sciences division that includes teaching in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings.

Anticipated start date is August 2024 for the fall semester.

The hired individual may be expected to teach a variety of courses in the discipline as assigned.

Requirements

 

  • Master's degree with a major in nursing (MSN)
  • 2 years of successful experience in clinical nursing practice
  • Current license to practice nursing in Illinois
  • Ability to meet clinical health requirements
  • Ability to work inclusively with diverse populations of students, employees, and community members

 

Desired Qualifications

 

  • Experience teaching in multiple content areas which may include mental health, critical care, medical surgical, and maternal child health/pediatrics nursing
