To serve as a key member of the finance team, supporting the Senior Finance Manager to enhance cross functional collaboration within the business. Supporting the Operations function of the organization in understanding financial processes, reporting financial and non-financial information, and providing interpretation and analysis. Assist with financial planning processes providing recommendations and insights and supporting business decision making.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate month-end close process for Operations teams, produce all related journals and accruals to align the financials with actual performance. Analyze COGS and OPEX actual results with forecasting and budgeting. Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
  • Communicate financial and business unit results including variances analysis to senior business leaders to ensure effective cost management/risk.
  • Maintain COGS templates of historical, current, and forecast logistic costs, working closely with Logistics, Purchasing and Planning team
  • Increase accuracy of budgeting, forecasting and actual results of COGS and Operations OPEX employing continuous improvement.
  • Support corporate budget and monthly forecast.
  • Help to drive COGS down by providing insightful reporting and making recommendation on cost savings opportunities.
  • Provide gross margin analysis in various aspects to the Executive leadership.
  • Creating, improving, and maintaining financial models
  • Act as a liaison between Finance and Operations Management team.
  • Boost cross functional collaboration and bridge Operation's KPIs to Finance analysis.
  • Alignment with Business Intelligence team to ensure reporting needs
  • Project management to ensure completion of operation/finance initiatives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related
  • 4-6+years of experience in finance or accounting
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel (pivots, queries, slicers, etc.)
  • Experience working with Salesforce a plus
  • Experience with ERPs and Forecasting tools a plus (COGNOS/TM1)
  • Experience with Access, SQL a plus
  • May require occasional travel (1 - 2x a year)
Base Range: $85,400 - $110,600 + Bonus Eligible
