Amentum is seeking a Logistics Analyst to facilitate operations and maintenance support of naval vessels, systems, and related ship support infrastructure. Locations for this role include San Diego, CA, Washington, DC, and Norfolk, VA. This role will be hybrid (combined remote and on-site).

Estimate hiring salary range: $85-100k (salary rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data).

Essential responsibilities and daily duties will include:

  • Provide comprehensive logistics support for all operations and maintenance support tasking performed under the contract to accomplish material and system readiness. At a minimum, this will include the following Integrated Product Support elements: Maintenance Planning and Management, Supply Support, Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T), and Training Support.

  • Oversee all international logistics support activities including shipping and compliance with customs regulations.

  • Develop itemized lists of required parts and materials for each ship technical assistance effort.

  • Manage updates to the ship Consolidated Allowance List (COSAL) and other ship documentation to reflect repairs and any approved configuration changes.

  • Oversee warehouse operations to ensure that Government owned property and material are received, stored and shipped safely and efficiently.

  • Input, track, review, and report status of Government/Contractor Furnished Equipment (GFE/CFE), material, and equipment configuration data.

  • Provide material support, forecasting, obsolescence management, and disposal recommendations.

  • Research supply chain issues to identify potential problems and preemptively address them.

  • Coordinate and provide material and logistical support during program reviews, integrated product/process teams, or working groups and track action items/milestones.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in logistics planning and execution activities supporting a naval surface or undersea program/project office (i.e., NAVSEA, NSWC, planning yards, etc.) to include experience in maintenance planning, supply support, packing/handling/transportation, and training.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to work onsite and remote.

  • Ability to obtain a secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance.

  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS (up to 25%). Ability to obtain a United States Passport.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field.

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from the Association for Supply Chain Management (APICS) and/or Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) from the International Society of Logistics (SOLE).

  • Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience.
