The LVN Supervisor provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of operational or technical employees. A portion of time may be spent performing individual tasks related to the unit; however, supervisory activities must constitute a primary part of the job. Supervises unit operations to ensure compliance with departmental or organizational policies, procedures, and defined internal controls. Ensures accountability and stewardship of department resources (operational, financial, and human) in compliance with departmental standards and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSGraduation from an accredited LVN program.
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - issued by the state of California.
BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
Five (5+) or more years of relevant LVN experience.
Experience and clinical knowledge to effectively supervise LVNs.
Previous Supervisor experience.
Skills to manage the complex workflow and multiple priorities involved with a clinic,center or practice.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare administration.
- Ambulatory experience.
- Recent Urology Experience.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $74,300 - $134,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $35.58 - $64.42
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
