Program Analyst
Job Description
Amentum is seeking a full time Program Analyst to support and advise the Program Manager (PM) in planning, managing, and evaluating programs, operations, and processes. The candidate will collaborate with the Program Management Office (PMO) Team to provide technical support services, which will include sustainment material, systems upgrades, systems integration support, training, and other related efforts associated with the transfer and acquisition, operation, and maintenance of naval vessels, systems, and related ship support infrastructure. Locations for this role include Washington, DC and Norfolk, VA. This role will be hybrid (combined remote and on-site).
Estimate hiring salary range: $80-100k (salary rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data).

Essential responsibilities and daily duties will include:
Provide a broad range of program management support to the PMO Team for planning, implementation, and execution activities as directed by the Program Manager (PM).
Assist the PM with the development of budgets, schedules, and tracking metrics.
Assess and advise on potential issues related to cost, schedule, and performance.
Plan, analyze and evaluate operational and program performance.
Utilize the project enterprise system to monitor and manage project functional areas including engineering and maintenance management, supply chain management, warehouse management, financial management, project management, and business management.
Track expenditures, accounts receivable, and program obligations.
Conduct research, analyzing complex data sets and systems, identifying trends, and preparing reports with specific recommendations to improve contract performance.
Prepare and present reports and associated recommendations.
Minimum Requirements
3 years of experience as a Program Analyst, Management Analyst, or similar role.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Advanced computer skills and knowledge of multiple databases and software systems.
Ability to collect and analyze complex sets of data.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to work onsite and remote.
Ability to obtain a secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance.
Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS (up to 25%). Ability to obtain a United States Passport.
