About the Role:

The Senior Manager, Organizational and Team Effectiveness is a senior member of the Talent Management Team, responsible for developing and implementing organizational and team effectiveness strategies that support the needs of Neurocrine's growing business. This role will assess and diagnose organizational needs and design and deploy solutions in partnership with HR and business leaders. This work might include standing up new organizations, redesigning existing organizations, architecting organizational change, driving alignment, improving decision making, building organizational capacity, or improving team and organizational performance. This role requires a deep understanding of organizational design, team effectiveness, and change management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and facilitating high impact sessions with teams. This position plays a pivotal role in enhancing organizational performance, employee engagement, and overall business success.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and assessments of current organizational effectiveness, identifying opportunities and recommending necessary changes

  • Lead the development and implementation of organizational effectiveness strategies that support the company's business objectives

  • Lead the development and optimization of the organization's structure to ensure it is in line with business objectives, strategies, and industry best practices

  • Design and facilitate sessions with intact teams that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and employee engagement

  • Analyze organizational structures, responsibilities, reporting relationships and work processes to increase organizational effectiveness

  • Use change management strategies to guide the organization through transitions in structure, processes, or systems, ensuring minimal disruption to day-to-day operations

  • Develop and facilitate creative, values-based OE interventions, including team building, group facilitation, decision making, change management and department restructuring

  • Contribute to HR team efforts to capture and share standards, best practices, external benchmarking, and innovative practices related to culture, change management, team effectiveness, strategy operationalization, organization design, and organization diagnosis

  • Collaborate across HRBP's and Talent Management to design and implement scalable organization effectiveness solutions at the team, functional and regional level

  • Collaborate with Senior Leaders and broader HR team to gain alignment on organizational effectiveness strategies and to obtain buy-in for changes

  • Source and manage external resources/partnerships

  • Communicate and engage with stakeholders throughout the organization

  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in organizational and team effectiveness

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field with 8+ years of experience or, Master's degree is preferred with 6+ years of experience

  • Experience in organizational and team effectiveness, with a focus on facilitating high impact team sessions

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Business acumen and systems thinking. Understands how organization strategy and design drives capabilities to achieve business outcomes

  • Connects the dots across company to proactively identify, leverage, and recommend opportunities that improve organization effectiveness

  • Ability to think strategically and develop custom solutions

  • Able to influence and coach leaders at all levels

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead change

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including HRIS, data analysis, and project management

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $142,700.00-$206,975.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
