Sony Electronics Inc. has an excellent opportunity for an Business Planner in our PEA (Personal Entertainment) Sales & Marketing Group, based in San Diego. In this position, the Business Planner will provide support to the management team in performing supply chain management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute SAP/Supply management activities for all aspects of the order management process domestically - dealer purchase order monitoring, allocation of products for sales orders, air/ inbound monitoring, liaising with distribution center for special projects

• Manage SNA's procurement/sales/inventory (PSI) process of finished goods to support domestic sales and handle daily communication with related factories

• Monitor and analyze customer demands to maximize opportunities whilst minimizing inventory risks

• Work closely with Business Management, Logistics and Order Management to manage all the above

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree in Economics, Business, Finance or closely related discipline

• Minimum five (5) years related experience

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analysis, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy required

• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel required

• Experience in demand forecast

• Working knowledge of SAP is required

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications:

• The ability to work independently, prioritize duties and work within tight deadlines

• Data science background preferred

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $57,000 to $76,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave after three months of employment,a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave after six months of employment.
