Build a brighter future for all children.
To provide a safe, clean, healthy food service environment, to prepare and deliver food on a timely basis, to develop healthy menus in accordance with the policies and procedures at the Primrose School of 4S Ranch, and to assist in the purchasing and maintenance of food and materials needed to promote children's health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Encourage healthy eating habits through delicious and nutritious foods.
- Maintain a keen awareness of children who have allergies and food restrictions.
- Ensure food service area and food are free of nuts, nut products or food items that have been processed in a facility that also processes nut products.
- Follow the daily menu prepared in collaboration with or by the Director.
- Assist with ordering food and calculating the amount needed.
- Assist teachers on breaks and lunches
- Assist teachers on Prep-Time for their class
- Respond to classroom assistance codes
- Must meet requirements as stipulated by state licensing agency.
- Ability to relate positively to young children is essential.
- Experience working with parents or demonstrates ability to relate to parents.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
- A strong commitment to building positive relationships with families and the community.

Compensation: $17.25 - $19.00 per hour
