Your Role

The Pharmacy Market Experience team is responsible for the development and management of pharmacy-related marketing materials and related digital experience for all lines of business, and multiple audiences. The Business Analyst, Principal will report to the Senior Manager, Pharmacy Market Experience. In this role, that will support the Pharmacy Market Experience Team to provide pharmacy business requirements, support and/or lead implementation of efforts and projects to improve the digital experience across all lines of business. You will also support development and/or refinement of market messaging aligning with SEO findings or recommendations, communication plans and digital content/collateral to promote pharmacy benefits, products/services, clinical and business objectives.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Provide highly complex analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations
  • Support or lead the development of a business strategy and vision for digital experience improvement initiatives, including mobile content and integration
  • Develop, prepare and analyze reports with highly complex analyses and data for management review, and make presentations to various levels of management
  • Define business requirements and provide analysis to increase operational efficiency
  • Analyze actual results against plan and forecast and recommend interventions where appropriate
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to support or lead product or program digital launches, including determining scope, user stories, UAT, validating and performing periodic audits
  • Measure the effectiveness of digital experience touchpoints, identify and drive improvements
  • Partner with Brand, UX and Digital Content teams to ensure compliance with associated requirements and consistency across customer digital touchpoints
  • Support or lead analysis and reporting on digital web trends and content performance across multiple channels and LOBs using Google Analytics, BrightEdge, Opinion Lab and similar survey and data platforms
  • Support strategic initiatives such as Pharmacy Care Reimagined, communication transformation and digital member experience transformation. May include responsibilities related to vendor implementation in connection with strategic initiatives and special projects

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience in business analysis and interpretation of data, preferably in managed care/healthcare industry
  • Requires mastery level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have deep knowledge of project management
  • Requires prior direct experience in digital strategy development, planning and implementation of healthcare digital marketing/content, and mobile and digital communication campaigns, including managing or leading U/X and U/I development, UAT and/or managing end-to-end testing/validation
  • Demonstrated direct experience managing multiple complex projects with competing priorities using Scrum and/or Agile methodologies or project management tools/apps
  • Proven work analyzing data trends to strategize, plan and implement SEO strategies and other methods of optimizing the digital/mobile experience
  • Proven ability to define product vision and create user stories or experience/journey roadmaps to plan or improve the member's digital experience
  • Experience with API development, Adobe Experience Manager, Jira/GRID/Confluence is a plus

Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: $ 120120.00 to $ 180180.00 for California.

Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade. Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
