The Senior Financial Analyst isa key member of the Corporate Planning and Control Team in the Commercial Investment (CI) area. Manages and controls the financial operations for Marketing Development Funds (MDF).

Responsibilities:

• Financial reporting, account analysis, reconciliations, vendor payment management, month-end close, audit, financial tool support, budget and forecasting activities

• Work as a liaison directly supporting the Business Planning and Sales Organizations by preparing journal entries, resolving variances where needed, troubleshooting financial tools and general operation issues, providing meaningful and insightful reports and information to support the business

• Systems and operational support for Forecasting Tool including Customer Master Data maintenance; data integrity validation; constantly ensuring alignment with Sales Hierarchy, BU Simulation file and SAP CI Systems (Vistex); Provide input and test new versions or upgrades related to different tools managed

• Our candidate should have the ability to identify weaknesses in processes, provide recommendations for process improvements and execute them. Also, they must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously as well as potentially lead projects

• Lead and train Sales teams how to properly track and execute spend, while following company policy

• Coordinate with Finance & Accounting (GFA), maintain, train, and guide Financial Policies to Sales teams

• Backup for other CPC operations outside of MDF managed by team

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

• 3-5 years Commercial finance experience in a fast-paced sales environment

• Experience applying quantitative business analysis and communicating results

• Strong accounting and reporting skills and learns new financial systems quickly are a must

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent working knowledge of SAP, Power Query, PowerBI is highly desired

• Knowledge of CI specifically MDF is a plus

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients and/or customers

• Ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, curious, understands end-to-end impact, and has a can-do attitude

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $69,000.00 to $92,000.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave after three months of employment,a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave after six months of employment.
