Mount Mercy University is a Catholic, coeducational university founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1928 enrolling approximately 1,450 students. The university offers a variety of liberal arts, professional, accelerated, and graduate degree programs. The picturesque campus located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Position Description
The Business Department at Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is seeking candidates to fill a full-time teaching position in Business beginning Fall 2024. Qualified applicants must possess an MBA or master’s degree or higher in a business related field and have the ability to teach a variety of business courses which depending upon qualifications could potentially include Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Money and Banking, Entrepreneurship, Market Research, Consumer Behavior, Personal Financial Planning, and Strategic Management. Other qualifications include: college-level teaching experience and relevant industry experience.
In addition to teaching responsibilities the successful candidate must also be willing to advise students, serve on designated committees, and support the Business Department and the University by serving in other capacities as assigned.
