Faculty members are required to provide a positive, caring, and dynamic learning environment that inspires student success, values diversity, promotes community vitality and embraces Laurel Ridge Community College’s vision and values. Faculty members are required to work to help further the goals of Laurel Ridge Community College and the English program, and support Virginia Community College System policies and procedures. Responsibilities of this position will include serving on College committees (as assigned), evaluating and revising the curriculum, participating in monthly information sessions, and assisting with program assessment and development. Faculty members are to engage in activities that demonstrate a commitment to students, community organizations, and/or the College.

Compensation and Benefits
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
