Our House, Inc. is seeking a full-time Human Resources Director to oversee all aspects of human resources management for our organization. This is a hybrid role, with the office located in New Providence, NJ. The Human Resources Director will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for managing HR policies, procedures, programs, and practices that align with our mission and goals. The Director will contribute to the development of HR strategies, ensure legal compliance, and support both staff and management team members in HR-related matters. The Director will manage a team of four HR Generalists and Specialists, and will be an integral part of the OHI Executive Management Team. In addition, the HR Director will collaborate with the CEO and COO on driving organizational structure, employee relations, and long-term planning.

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
• At least 7+ years of progressive experience in human resources work. Experience working for a nonprofit preferred.
• At least 5+ years of management experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in HR policies, procedures, and compliance.
• Demonstrate success in recruiting and hiring at a fast pace with high volume.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience developing and presenting HR-related training sessions to staff and management teams.
• Experience with employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work assignments effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HR information systems/HRIS.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment and discretion.
