Role and Responsibilities
After School Children/Youth Program seeks a part-time coordinator to begin immediately.
Plan, organize and implement a wide variety of multifaceted programs and activities for Pre-K through 9th-grade youth
Use a task-oriented, flexible and innovative approach to program planning
Meet with counselors/teachers to guarantee youth activities are effectively implemented
Implement training that will increase students’ academic success
Monitor operations that will ensure the safety of children and others while at the center.
Work well with diverse staff, community volunteers and parents to accomplish program goals

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree in education, human services, recreation 2 – 3 years experience in youth programming
Thorough understanding of child and adolescent development
Positive attitude, ability to multi=task and work independently
Strong communication skills
An Associates Degree will be considered with at least 4-5 years of experience working in youth programming

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24,000.00 per year
