Based in Switzerland, the Foundation works to facilitate the use of Cardano in mission critical applications across a wide range of industries and markets, anchoring use cases in the off-line world and encouraging active on-chain participation and governance.

What you’ll be doing:

Our Project Management Team is looking for a Project Management Office Analyst to join our growing team. As a PMO Analyst at the Cardano Foundation you will be providing day to day support to the PMO function through various tasks, by assisting with benefits management, change management, dashboard creation and procurement, data analytics per portfolio, knowledge management, project audits, PSC and Board reporting and supporting large programs.


Reporting and Project Delivery Support:

  • Prepare Management Information (MI) packs for executive audiences to a high standard, which are used in various Governance meetings.

  • Prepare Management Information in a timely manner, allowing time for analysis and executive review.

  • Complete additional PMO administrative tasks in a timely manner as the project/programmes require.

  • Own resource requests for larger programs.

 

Portfolio Governance & Control:

  • Quality assure project artefacts/collateral submitted to PMO (Business Cases, Change Requests, Status Reports, Closure Reports, etc.) Provide constructive feedback to colleagues to ensure project management standards are applied consistently.

  • Supporting the planning, execution and monitoring of projects.

  • Provide education, training and first line support on the agreed procedures, processes and tools.

  • Own administrative work for the RFI process (gathering requirements and contacting vendors).

  • Ownership of the process of ‘the lessons learnt’ reviews.

  • Provide guidance to non-PM’s after the business case has been approved.

  • Run quarterly retrospectives with the PMO team.

  • Knowledge management; keep PMO Confluence and PMO documentation up to date including version control and records management.

 
What we look for in you:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Project Management.

  • Possess a degree ideally in Technology, Engineering, Business or similar discipline.

  • Solid understanding of software project delivery and various project delivery methodologies.

  • Ability to synthesise a large amount of information into relevant and concise reporting.

  • Experience working within a variety of PMO offices.

  • Experience of working on software development projects.

  • Demonstrable knowledge of project management frameworks, PMO policies, processes and procedures.

  • Strong Data analysis experience with the ability to act with discretion and integrity.

  • Strong attention to detail, but can also consider the bigger picture.

  • Must possess strong English spoken and written skills.

  • Adaptable, intuitive and good problem solving techniques. Be proactive and use initiative. Ownership is a part of your DNA.

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, good management and planning skills to help support projects and identify issues/risks.

  • Demonstrable knowledge on the value and benefits of a PMO function.

  • Apply knowledge and analytical skills to call out portfolio insights and recommendations whilst collating management information.

 
Nice to have:
  • PMP or PRINCE2.

  • SCRUM or agile qualifications.

  • Tech experience and ideally passion or interest in Blockchain.
