$75,000 - $85,000

Position Overview

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the Director of HR and Talent Management!

As the Director, you will be at the forefront of our agency's mission to provide exceptional services while upholding the values that drive us forward. You will oversee all functional areas of the Human Resources department and the Talent Management team, working to promote the highest standards of professionalism, development, training, and quality in accordance with all laws, regulatory requirements, agency practices, and philosophy.

Work Location: Canandaigua
Schedule: M-F 8-4

Responsibilities

  • Oversees day-to-day administration and operations of Human Resources to include: employee relations, workplace culture, wage and salary, personnel policies, benefits and leaves, employee retention, employee recruitment, volunteers, onboarding, training, staff development, workers compensation, agency safety, and HR data analysis.
  • Serves as a member of the management team and attends leadership strategic planning sessions as necessary to provide input and guidance related to human resources and staff development.
  • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and over five (5) years relevant experience, including three (3) years of supervisory experience; prior human resource, staff development, and/or experience with the disability population preferred. Combination of education and experience which, in the judgment of the employer, equals above standards.
