Human Resources Benefits Administrator
Job Description
We are looking for a Human Resources Benefits Administrator to join our team to implement and monitor all benefit programs to attract and retain employees. The position assists with the benefits packages including health, life, disability and leave of absence. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of day to day benefit administration, communication and compliance fit overall benefits strategy. Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our benefit programs run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review benefit packages
- Administer health and life insurance programs
- Implement training and development plans
- Plan quarterly and annual performance review sessions
- Inform employees about additional benefits they’re eligible for (e.g extra vacation days)
- Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
- Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
- Monitor budgets by benefit plans
- Communicate with contracting requirements with benefit plan providers
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ADA, ERISA, ACA, FMLA & IRS regulations
Skills
- Proven work experience in benefit administration with a large company
- Solid understanding of benefit federal, state and local laws
- 3 years of HRIS experience, good systems knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving abilities
- BSc/MSc in Human Resources or relevant field
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
