Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Laboratory Technician within the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. A lab technician position is available for a highly motivated candidate in the group of Dr. Shin-Heng Chiou at Rutgers University Cancer Institute in New Jersey, USA. The lab technician will participate in a research program designed to uncover T cell clones with anti-tumor activity. The position provides an opportunity to be part of Dr. Chiou’s research group within a multidisciplinary setting encompassing both basic cancer biology as well as immune oncology. The research program is translational and integrated with the laboratory of Dr. Christian Hinrichs. The ultimate goal of this research program is to uncover new T cell receptor (TCR) sequences that have high anti-tumor functional avidity for the development of engineered TCR-T cell therapy against epithelial malignancies. Qualified candidates must have basic training in immunology and/or cancer biology. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have great passion for science and strong desire to explore the unknown. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
