Position Qualification


Position Summary
The Wan Lab (https://wan-mlab.github.io/ ) is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral candidates with a strong interest in bioinformatics, machine learning, and computational biology. Our lab has multiple exciting and diverse projects ranging from cancer research, single cell analysis, mutli-omics analysis, spatial transcriptomics, intelligent healthcare, and precision medicine. The candidates are expected to develop and/or apply artificial intelligence, machine learning and/or data science as well as bioinformatics based methods to address cutting-edge topics, including but not limited to, cancer research (including leukemia, prostate cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, etc), single cell analysis, multi-omics analysis, spatial transcriptomics, intelligent healthcare, and precision medicine, etc.
Required Qualifications
PhD degree in a quantitative science like bioinformatics, computer science, statistics, mathematics, automation, informatics, electronic engineering, biology, physics, chemistry, etc.
Supplemental Qualifications
Experience with next-generation sequencing data and bioinformatics tool development is preferred. Candidates with a biological background with quantitative training are also encouraged to apply.
