Posting Summary	Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Manager Retail Operations for the Department of Dining Services. This position will be reporting to the Director Operations, Among the key duties of the position are the following: Supervises all activities of the Three Chilies truck and Knight Wagon, with an annual operation budget of $500,000. Responsible for menu planning, food production and service; cash handling; staffing. Meets all safety, sanitation and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience	Requires a bachelor’s degree, preferably in food service management, culinary arts, nutrition or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. A minimum of two years of experience in food service management.
Certifications/Licenses	Requires ServSafe Certification.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities	Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, and computer literacy in industry standard software.
Preferred Qualifications	Four years of experience in the food service management preferred. Familiarity with RIAS HCM, Kronos Timekeeper, Absence Reporting System, FoodPro desired.
Equipment Utilized
Physical Demands and Work Environment	Requires use of a personal vehicle. Must be able to lift and carry food, equipment and beverage items. Must be able to work at variety of locations and work a flexible schedule including extended daily hours, weekends, or during recesses.

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
