Position Summary:
Rutgers The State University is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant in the Brain Health Institute of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
This is a part-time temporary laboratory research assistant position for 20 hours per week. The laboratory research assistant will conduct statistical data analyses on recorded behavioral and neural datasets to study the neural mechanisms of auditory-decision-making.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Perform statistical and computational data analyses on recorded behavioral and neural datasets to assess the neural mechanisms of auditory decision-making.
- Assist with microscopy and anatomical analysis of processed brain tissue.
- Assist with computer data entry and analysis.
- Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields: psychology, biology, neuroscience, computer science, or other related field.
