Posting Summary	Grounded in our history as leaders in family-centered HIV health care, the François-Xavier Bagnoud Center (FXB Center) at the Rutgers School of Nursing serves communities that are at greatest risk for health inequities. The FXB Center works to achieve this mission through translation of findings to practice and policy, education, and research. Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Multimedia Specialist will have primary responsibility for creating and executing the graphic design and digital content needs of the FXB Center and its related programs, and will assist with other initiatives and special projects as needed, to include supporting website content, infographic development, publication development, and social media for the Center.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities	Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, information technology, or related field with a minimum of one year of relevant experience. Applicants may substitute additional related experience for the educational requirements on a year-for-year basis. Must have working knowledge of computer graphics and pre-print production. Must have a professional portfolio of published projects reflecting creativity in publication design. Production experience with the following software is required: Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite. Multimedia and website design management experience is required. Experience with Mac and PC operating systems is required.
Preferred Qualifications	Knowledge of issues impacting people with HIV and social determinants of health is desirable.

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to receive an updated (bivalent) vaccine dose.
