Job Description:

Assumption University seeks candidates for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Accounting.

The Assistant Professor of Finance provides classroom lectures and instruction to students with an emphasis on courses such as Financial Management, Investment and Securities Valuation, and Statistics, as well as advising undergraduate students in the Finance major. The Assistant Professor of Finance will participate in department activities, submit grant proposals, and perform research activities in the field of finance (including preparing articles for publication in scholarly journals).

Requirements:

Requirements include a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in finance, economics, or a related field. Applicants must have a Chartered Financial Analyst certification. No work experience required. Must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the University.
