Description
Description:
The "asymmetrical" magnetospheres of the Ice Giant planets, Uranus and Neptune, are the least understood plasma environments in the solar system. We are looking for postdoctoral researchers to help further our understanding of ice giant magnetospheres, their large-scale structure, dynamical behavior as a function of both internal and solar wind forcing, as well as their interaction with the planet's moons. The research will involve either data analysis of Voyager 2 measurements, modeling, or a combination of the two.
