Norwich University seeks individuals qualified to develop and teach fully online undergraduate mathematics courses for its online bachelor's degree completion programs. The courses will be eight weeks in length and delivered via the Moodle learning management system. Specific courses to be developed include: Pre-Calculus Mathematics, Discrete Mathematics, and Theory of Computation.
Course developers work as part of a team that includes instructional designers and developers, media specialists, digital librarians, and academic program leaders. Norwich University provides training to new course developers and instructors.
Course development is done on a contract basis, as is online teaching.
Minimum of a master's degree in mathematics or mathematics education from a regionally accredited college or university;
Eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S.;
Knowledge of the mathematical foundations of data and computer sciences preferred;
Experience developing or teaching online courses at the post-secondary level preferred.
All candidates must be a US Citizen/Permanent Resident legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future..
