Candidates with broad backgrounds in cancer biology, molecular biology, genetics, and genomics, are all welcome to apply.

The Tang lab applies a combination of cell/molecular biology, functional genomics, and mouse engineering approaches to understand how cancer cells communicate with their neighbors, or the stromal cells, in the metastatic cascade. Our lab also applies biostatistics, quantitative biology, and synthetic biology to answer fundamental biology questions such as how cell-cell interactions changes cell state.
