Job Description
Harford Community College is seeking qualified Biology Adjunct Faculty to teach on-campus, daytime Biology classes.
This is a 4-credit course that meets for 3 lecture hours and 3 laboratory hours per week.
Biology Adjunct Faculty are expected to instruct a variety of biology topics and applications to a diverse student population. It is expected that faculty members integrate active learning components into lessons.

Employees of Harford Community College must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia. Work is generally performed on the College campus unless otherwise specified.
Required Education
Master’s degree is required.
Required Experience
Prior experience with classroom technology.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Lab skills specific to the discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior teaching experience preferred. Professional experience in the discipline a plus.
General Weekly Work Schedule
This course will run during the daytime and early afternoon.
