Position Summary

A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available immediately. Projects involve preclinical and clinical validating molecular imaging contrast agents for predicting, staging diseases, monitoring the progress of disease using different strategies. The candidate will write progress report quarterly to PIs and complete research manuscripts for publishing. The successful candidate will have access to state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and departmental core facilities for molecular imaging, as well as to the great research community in one of the top medical schools in the USA.

Required Qualifications

Energetic, highly motivated with PhD/MD in biology, immunology, biochemistry, pharmacology, neurobiology, cancer biology, pathology and related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate should have hands-on experiences on biology, immunoassay, immunohistochemistry staining, molecular imaging, biochemistry, pharmacology, animal and radioactive material handling.
  • Good skills on anatomic tissue dissection of the rodents.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical abilities and a dedicated willingness for multi-tasks are essential for this position.

Working Conditions

This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.

Salary Range

Base pay is commensurate with experience.
