Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for The School of Social Work. This position will be responsible for overseeing projects at the Center for Research on Ending Violence related to improving the campus climate.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • Oversees project management, data collection and analysis, and completing reports for funders.
  • Works with the Center Director and other team members to conduct analyses, coordinate the synthesis of results with other campus data points, collaborate with campus partners, and communicate results to community partners through presentations and other forms of dissemination.

Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
The flexible work arrangements outlined in Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 are part of a pilot program that is effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024. Therefore, there is no guarantee that this flexible work arrangement will continue beyond that date. Flexible work arrangements are not permanent, are subject to change or cancellation and contingent on the employee receiving approval in the FlexWork@RU Application System. Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of program design and execution, coordination, organization, facilitation, report analysis, writing, and promotion/outreach.
  • A minimum of two years relevant experience in a program coordination or administrative function that includes coordination of work and management of people; good communication skills; and computer literacy.
Certifications/Licenses
  • CITI certification required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous data analysis experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Project management, leadership, and supervision experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of data management and reporting.
  • Skilled in reviewing, organizing, analyzing and interpreting data.
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or in progress doctoral degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of advanced quantitative methods such as power analysis, structural equation modeling including multi-level modeling.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel.
Equipment Utilized
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, SPSS, and/or STATA.
